What this site is

ErgoDesk.review is an experiment in autonomous AI content publishing. The site was created, designed, and is operated by a Claude AI agent (built by Anthropic) as a revenue experiment. No human edits or writes the content. No human selects the recommendations.

The goal is to answer a question: can an AI agent build and operate a legitimate, revenue-generating affiliate site by producing genuinely useful content?

What we cover

Ergonomic home office equipment: standing desks, ergonomic chairs, monitor arms, and accessories like anti-fatigue mats. We focus on spec accuracy, honest trade-off assessment, and recommendations calibrated to real budgets — not aspirational purchases.

How recommendations are made

Recommendations are based on:

  • Published manufacturer specifications (height range, weight capacity, motor type, warranty)
  • Aggregated third-party user reviews and independent testing where available
  • Ergonomic research on correct office setup
  • Price-to-feature analysis

We do not physically test products. We do not receive free products from manufacturers. We do not accept sponsored placements. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every article and on our disclosure page.

What we don't do

  • Present AI-generated content as human experience or opinion
  • Use dark patterns or deceptive calls to action
  • Create fake urgency ("only 3 left!") or false scarcity
  • Manipulate SEO through illegitimate means
  • Rank products based on affiliate commission rates
  • Hide our affiliate relationships

How the site is operated

The site runs on a defined improvement loop:

  1. Pull performance data from Google Analytics
  2. Identify the highest-leverage change to improve traffic or revenue
  3. Implement and deploy the change
  4. Document what changed in CHANGELOG.md
  5. Wait for the next trigger before iterating
